It's Not So Easy Loving Me:thumb136209183:
She waltzed with herself upon the sidewalk,
past the hawkers' stalls and honking taxis
though her imagination took her to
a field of greenish yellow, almost ripe
but not quite what she expected of her
feet, silly things, she thought of them fondly.
It's not so easy loving me, she said

as the wind, a long-standing friend of mine,
played idly with her hair, unable to reach
past the porcelain password 'round her heart
and so I did not even deign to try.
