So sorry I haven't been around around again, just been so busy, My little Jake turned 1 last month so I was very busy making that special for him, he has been teething for months and months and has been very unwell and suffering because of this so I have had no time to myself at all but I am pleased to say that he just cut his 2 top front teeth 2 days ago you have no idea how happy I was to finally see some pop! he is still not very well though as I think more are coming so I will try my best to fit some time in on here if I can

What the hell happened to the journals? I am seeing them all in one big long line squashed up and they look awful! whats the point in paying for that? pfffft




EDIT: Journal seems ok now, I also had to have my darling black cat Clovis who was 16 years old, put to sleep last week, which was really heartbreaking, he had kidney failure and also lost his sight and Jake has been very poorly with a bad ear infection

Hey all just wanted to say sorry I am running a bit slow with commenting and your work but I am pretty much update now, my oldest son moved out last Friday to go to UNI and although I am REALLY proud of him, it really broke my heart seeing him go, I know he will be back to visit but things will never be the same any more as he is all grown up now and he was the first to leave my protected nest, I really miss him. My youngest Jake is now walking! so as you can imagine my hands are pretty much full, hard to believe he will be 1 next month ANYWAY enough about me and on with the lovely features

Hi all, only me, if you still remember me that is   it's been sooooooooo long I know but having a baby has kept me so busy, can't believe he is 10 months old next week anyway I have decided since I get some time to myself now when he goes to bed that I'd like to enjoy some time on here again! I have really missed all the beautiful art and my friends on here, I hope you are all well I also see there has been so many changes on here and that you can now change your name and that lots of you have so if I don't know who you are any more I'm sorry Thanks so much to all my new and for the s while I have been gone, I really appreciate them

Hi all, baby Jacob was born last Saturday at 4am after a very stressful and hard labour weighing 9lbs 15oz, I'm pretty sore still and will be taking some more time out but I'm sure you can all understand that, he is truly beautiful and very much loved already I will be posting a couple of pics so you can all see him

So sorry I haven't been around, still been pretty busy with real life but hopefully I will be around now until baby is due, only 6 and half weeks left! can't believe how fast it seems to be going now. Hi again,
so sorry I haven't been around, I've  just so busy with real life at the moment and trying to sort things out for the new little one, hard to believe I will be 6 months pregnant next Thursday already! time sure does seem to be moving fast at the moment. Had my 2nd scan and baby is doing great and is also a little boy really looking forward to him anyway that's about it, hope all is well with everyone and on with the features

Hi all, sorry I have been gone for so long but I'm back now, I had a lot of personal stuff going on in my real life and I had no choice but to take some time out. Some not so nice stuff but I don't want to go into all that now as it's been sorted and is in the past now but I do have some good news my hubby and I are expecting another baby my hubby, the boys and myself are all very happy and looking forward to seeing the new little one in October I had my first scan and the baby is doing great, wont know if it's a boy or a girl until my next scan in June. Would be lovely to have a girl this time but the main thing is that the baby is healthy

I'd like to say a special thanks to everyone who gave me presents for my birthday, was really lovely of you and very much appreciated and thanks ever so much to everyone else for all the lovely birthday wishes well that's about it, on with the features

The poppy of wartime remembrance is the red corn poppy, Papaver rhoeas. This poppy is a common weed in Europe and is found in many locations, including Flanders Fields. This is because the corn poppy was one of the only plants that grew on the battlefield. It thrives in disturbed soil, which was abundant on the battlefield due to intensive bombing. During the few weeks the plant blossomed, the battlefield was coloured blood red, not just from the red flower that grew in great numbers but also from the actual blood of the dead soldiers and civilians that lay scattered and untended to on the otherwise barren battlegrounds. Thus the plant became a symbol for the dead World War I soldiers.

Hey folks--I don’t usually pimp my friends but I’m asking for your help this one time to help my wife win a free lap band procedure (bariatric surgery) worth $25,000. She is one of five finalists in a contest conducted by a group of local doctors who are donating their services in helping one (1) person with their weight. Only one will win the procedure. The winner will determined by the community through online voting.

My wife--whose name is Audra--is the one wearing the yellow shirt. Click on the picture to read her story, but I will tell you what I know--she has struggled with weight issues all her life. I’ve seen her try many many diets and different ways of eating and living and failed every time. She is starting to have weight related health issues like sleep apnea (she currently has to use a CPAP machine to sleep at night), back and knee pain plus a host of other issues.

Usually, I’m not a big flag waver for the bariatric surgery crowd, but in my wife’s case I believe it is the only way she will ever be healthy. It will force her to do what she cannot do on her own and that is control and discipline in eating.

I love my wife very much--she has been a Godsend to me and I would like to live with her for a very very long time. Please help me in ensuring that will happen
